Problem & goal

The goal was to turn Japanese kanji into decisions rather than use the Three Kingdoms only as a theme. Collecting and arranging characters needed to connect directly to army building and defense.

02

Technical challenge

The main challenge was making glyph units, multiple routes, fusion, attack shapes, enemy states, resources, and bonds readable on one screen while preserving useful growth across six acts and endless play.

03

Solution

Unit merging and adjacent-name composition share one board interaction. Real attack shapes, bond progress, special tiles, and enemy state glyphs stay visible, while data-driven heroes, weapons, route templates, and rewards vary each run.

04

Result & learning

The released HTML5 version includes 12 heroes, seven bonds, signature attacks and ultimates, six historical acts leading into endless cycles, commander progression, saves, tutorials, and touch-friendly controls.
